"The Rising Dawn" is a short documentary by Nadi Saddy and Nuits Balnéaires that follows Côte d’Ivoire surf pioneer Souleymane Sidibé—from his first rides on little-known Ivorian breaks to his emergence on the global stage—celebrating the vibrant communities and ethereal coastlines shaping the country’s surf culture. RAWx created the film’s immersive prologue: a fully animated sequence built with real-time workflows, diving into Souleymane’s dream as he journeys through a lush rainforest at dawn, drawn by the call of the ocean.
