PROJECT SUMMARY
ANHEDONIA is a two-part series by Enrique Agudo (b. Madrid, 1989) exploring the instability of self-portraiture in the post-digital age. In a multi-channel video installation, Agudo combines 3D animation, found footage, and real-time visual processing to create portraits where curated self-image, memory, and distortion collapse into unstable formations of identity. The title refers to the condition of anhedonia, the inability to feel pleasure, which here becomes a framework for reflecting on the shifting nature of selfhood and the tension between belonging and estrangement.
