Anhedonia
Exhibition, Real-Time, 3D, Animation
Project SummaryAnhedonia is a two-part series by Enrique Agudo exploring the instability of self-portraiture in the post-digital age. Through a multi-channel video installation, Agudo combines 3D animation, found footage, and real-time visual processing to create portraits in which curated self-image, memory, and distortion collapse into unstable formations of identity. The title refers to anhedonia—the inability to feel pleasure—which becomes a framework for reflecting on the shifting nature of selfhood and the tension between belonging and estrangement.
