The Path is a short film developed using virtual production pipeline, telling the story of a physical infrastructure for sensation on the ruins of the metaverse.

SET DESIGN // PHYSICAL SET EXTENSION
The Sensorama set consists of an escalator that moves upwards. World leaders sit on it and disappear into a void. This was designed as a physical set with the practical effect of leaders falling back on to a crash mat. Lighting design in this set focuses on the void and the motion upwards, to create a sensation of disappearing significance.
The path will be built physically using digital fabrication techniques, so that it could sit in front of an LED screen as a set extension.
