Biocouture: Moving Patches of Vibrant Green is a concept image commissioned by WIRED magazine Japan. We were asked to reimagine urban parks in the next mid-century, as a tribute to father of concept design, Syd Mead. Our imagination lead to the idea that parks will become an event that occurs when people come together rather than a place that is constant.

BIOCOUTURE: MOVING PATCHES OF VIBRANT GREEN
Royally marching through the city symphony, we wear a tapestry of memories, experiences, and dreams woven together as personal garden companions. We wash over the hustle and bustle of the sterile urban landscape with moving patches of vibrant green.
When gardens touch, cluster, and come together as a mosaic, it's a romantic moment of becoming a park. When other people share experiences in our wearable gardens, we collectively become a park. Gardens transform into parks as they integrate artifacts of one's identity. And in the most mundane moments that make us pause, park happens.
